Summary

Linear banked features to the southwest of Chalkpit Copse, Corfe Mullen, are visible as earthworks on a 1945 aerial photograph. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Linear banked features to the southwest of Chalkpit Copse, Corfe Mullen, are visible as earthworks on a 1945 aerial photograph [1]. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
