The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Linear banked features to the northwest of Corfe Mullen, are visible as earthworks on a 1945 aerial photograph and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of possible medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
