Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the southeast of Newfoundland, Spetisbury. They range from 20m to 26m across and are considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field to the southeast of Newfoundland, Spetisbury <1>. They range from 20m to 26m across and are considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
