Two small hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Great Coll Wood, Sturminster Marshall. They are between 17m and 22m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Two small hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Great Coll Wood, Sturminster Marshall <1>. They are between 17m and 22m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
