Full Description
An unannotated hollow is marked on the Ordnance Survey 2nd edition map <1> to the southeast of Little Coll Wood, Spetisbury; it is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery <2> along with an outer ring of spoil and a second adjacent hollow. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits, probably chalk pits, and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
