Summary

A small group of three hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Muston Down, to the south of Combs Ditch, Winterborne Kingston. They are between 12m and 25m across and the largest has an outer ring of spoil. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A small group of three hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on Muston Down, to the south of Combs Ditch, Winterborne Kingston <1>. They are between 12m and 25m across and the largest has an outer ring of spoil.
