Full Description
Three small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within East Down Plantation to the south east of East Down Cottages, Winterborne Whitechurch <1>. They are between 12m and 26m across and considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
