A large hollow is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of the Whitechurch Hill Barn, Winterborne Whitechurch. It is over 50m across and has an outer ring of spoil. Is considered likely to be the remains of a post medieval chalk pit and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
