Full Description
A subcircular mound is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <1> to the northwest of Rendezvous Plantation, Spetisbury. The feature is 14m across and of uncertain date and function but lies adjacent to a probably post medieval extractive pit. It may be an associated spoil heap or of earlier origin. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
