Summary

A subcircular mound is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the northwest of Rendezvous Plantation, Spetisbury. The feature is 14m across and of uncertain date and function but lies adjacent to a probably post medieval extractive pit. It may be an associated spoil heap or of earlier origin. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
