Monument record MDO45976 - Enclosure, Bere Regis

Cropmarks of an elongated incomplete rectilinear enclosure of uncertain date located to the north of Millum Head Pond. It is aligned E-W and defined by a single narrow ditch with a curved eastern end. It can be traced for c 130m from the western side of the field to its closed end and may continue further to the west in the adjacent field. This was visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme.

It is alingned E-W and defined by a single narrow ditch with a curved eastern end. It can be traced for c 130m from the western side of the field to its closed end and may continue further to the west in the adjacent field. This was visible on aerial photographs taken in 2015 as part of the Historic England Reconnaissance Recording Programme. <1>
