Full Description
Areas of ridged cultivation to the south of Corfe Mullen, are visible as earthworks on a 1945 aerial photograph and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features are regular and relatively narrow and may be ridge and furrow cultivation of possible post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They border an area of similar ridge and furrow cultivation recorded under MDO41541. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
