Full Description
A survey in 1999 recorded a small quarry house here, at the south-east end of Acton, adjacent to a mine shaft. Four buildings were shown on the site in 1901, but three were left in 1928, one being the quarry house. The original building was 3m x 3.5m, but it was later extended by 1m. A mine shaft existed on the East side. The modern OS Mastermap does not show any buildings and it may have since been destroyed.
