Full Description
A series of parallel banks are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of The Down House, Blandford St Mary <1>. They are considered likely to be of post medieval date, possibly associated with the landscape planting of the house and possibly plantation ridges. They may however be of earlier medieval origin; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
