Full Description
A sub-rectangular ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs <1> taken in 2007 to the south of Littleton Drove, Blandford St Mary. The enclosure is 43m by 35m in size and a small gap on its southern side is likely to be an entrance. The enclosure appears to be set within a ditched field system with an associated trackway. The features are considered likely to be of of Iron Age or Roman origin and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. The features are set within a wider contemporary field system described in MDO45837.
