Summary

Fragments of an extensive bank and ditched field system of possible later prehistoric date are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and low earthworks on lidar imagery at the western end of Charlton Marshall in the vicinity of Charisworth House. The features are probably the western extension of a much more extensive system described in MDO45834. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

Fragments of an extensive bank and ditched field system of possible later prehistoric date are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs and low earthworks on lidar imagery <1-4> at the western end of Charlton Marshall in the vicinity of Charisworth House. The features are probably the western extension of a much more extensive system described in MDO45834. The site was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
