Full Description
A sub-rectangular ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1970 <1>, to the northwest of Thornicombe Site, Charlton Marshall. The enclosure is 32m across east-west and only three sides are visible, it is uncertain whether the north side was deliberately left open or is simply not showing on the photographs. It is potentially of Late Prehistoric or Roman origin and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
