Summary

An earthwork on Tenantry Down. Ordnance Survey field investigation in 1954 noted a weak bank with outer ditch running across the mouth of a coomb. To the south, the earthwork terminates abruptly, while to the north it cuts an east-west lynchet, presumably belonging to the field system SU 01 SW 10.

Full Description

Earthwork on Tenantry Down, 'A' SU 00801224, is a weak bank with outer ditch across the mouth of a coomb. The southern termination is abrupt, but in the north the ditch cuts an east-west 'Celtic' lynchet. To the west of the cut the lynchet is markedly weaker. <1>
