Full Description
The site of an Iron Age settlement enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1995 <1>. The enclosure is rectilinear (115m by 105m) and has a southeast facing entrance with an antenna funnel entrance. Two pit-like features which may be sites of buildings are visible internally towards the northern side of the enclosure. A short section of linear ditch is located to the west and may be part of a contemporary field boundary. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
