Monument record MDO45672 - Post medieval pond, Lytchett Matravers

A post medieval pond and associated drainage channel is visible as ditched and banked earthworks to the east of Lytchett Matravers on 1940s aerial photographs. The features corresponds with a pond and channel documented on the OS 1st Edition map. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

The features corresponds with a pond and channel documented on the OS 1st Edition map [2]. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are still partially visible on 2021 APGB imagery [3].
