An area of parallel ridged cultivation marks are visible to the east of Lytchett Matravers as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features may be those of medieval broad ridge and furrow. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

An area of parallel ridged cultivation marks are visible to the east of Lytchett Matravers as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features may be those of medieval broad ridge and furrow. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. They are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
