Full Description
An area of ridged cultivation marks to the east of Lytchett Matravers are visible as faint earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features are broad and curving and may be those of ridge and furrow cultivation of potentially medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. They are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
