Full Description

(ST 90820301) A single arched bridge with no parapets stands in a meadow just east of the railway at Spetisbury spanning a small steam that runs into the Stour at West End.

The bridge now leads nowhere, but it seems to be on the line of the pre-Turnpike road through the village, and was probably abandoned when the road was re-routed in turnpike times. <1>
