Full Description
The position of this Bronze Age urn was pointed out on the map by Mr. Loader. The field is now grass covered, with no visible trace of mound or antiquity. <1>
"About 30 years ago (circa 1925) I turned up a Bronze Age cinerary urn while ploughing. The field had been ploughed many times before, and the urn was completely smashed. Fragments, including lugs, were taken to the Dorset County Museum, where they were identified." <1.1>. No further finds have been made in the field.
