Horsych (Horsych) is not mentioned in Domesday. The earliest mention in 1332 when Robert Newburgh had licence to erect an oratory in his manor of Horsych in Cranborne parish. Hutchins equates it with Lords associated with Eastworth manor. <1>

Warwick's Lane is a corruption of Horsyke or Worsyke Lane. (SU 0687 0955 - SU 0690 1040). <2>

The earliest record is from the Feet of Fires 1249, and the latest 1535 from the Valor eccleciastieus temp. Henry VIII. <3>
