Full Description

Three ditches of unknown date were found during pipeline laying in Okeford Fitzpaine at ST 794112. All were V-shaped in profile.

Ditch A - 0.73m wide, 0.35m deep. Very small fragments of red pottery recovered.
Ditch B - 1.0m wide, 0.64m deep. Small fragments of black pottery.
Ditch C - 1.0m wide, 0.7m deep Small fragments of black pottery. The pottery could not be identified. <1>
