Clusters of probable post medieval chalk pits are visible as earthworks within Hogstock and Sing Close Coppices, Tarrant Rushton, on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. One of the chalk pits is within Hogstock Coppice but in Tarrant Rawston parish. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Clusters of probable post medieval chalk pits are visible as earthworks within Hogstock and Sing Close Coppices, Tarrant Rushton, on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. One of the chalk pits is within Hogstock Coppice but in Tarrant Rawston parish. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
