Full Description
A Post Medieval water channel is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. The slightly curving water channel is centred at ST 9451 0887 and extends for 72m roughly NNW / SSE to join the River Tarrant around ST 9453 0884. The water channel measures a maximum of 6m wide and is aligned on, and therefore probably continues the course of, a water channel situated to the north-west of Monkton ford which is fed by an irregular pattern of Post Medieval water meadows. <1>
