Full Description
Three deep hollows are visible as earthworks to the northeast of Deans Leaze Farm, Witchampton, on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1]. The features are shown as tree-filled copses on the OS 1st Edition map but may be disused post medieval quarries - an old chalk pit is recorded just to the south, also on the OS 1st Edition map [2]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
