A group of four probable post medieval chalk pits are visible as soilmarks and earthworks to the southeast of Hemsworth, Witchampton, on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
