Full Description
ST 81140996 A probable bowl barrow. <1>
Diameter 60 feet and height 3 feet. <2>
ST 81130998 A well preserved turf covered bowl barrow; diameter 18.0m, height 0.9m, there is no visible ditch. The mound is sited in a false crest position, astride a steep-sided narrow spur. Not visible on OS air photograph <3.1>.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on CR paper copy. <3>
The feature is visible as a low banked earthwork approximately 14m in diameter on current Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018) and was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
