Full Description
Part of a possible later Prehistoric and / or Roman field system is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs. The site is centred at ST 9463 0806 and comprises three broad linear ditches which extend north / south for up to 275m; the two easternmost are aligned and extend between ST 9460 0819 and ST 9467 0793. The third ditch is situated 23m and parallel to their west and extends between ST 9457 0817 and ST 9459 0810. The ditches suggest a long rectangular field on a north / south orientation. <1>
