Full Description

Vestiges of 'Celtic' fields are traceable on the shoulder of The Cliff (centred ST 948071), a steep river cliff
rising to 300 ft and facing NW over the Tarrant valley. No complete field survives as a result of destruction by strip cultivation and later ploughing. <1>

Three small square/rectilinear enclosures set within a larger enclosure are visible as cropmarks on 2007 aerial photography. The enclosures appear linked and contain cropmarks that could represent pits or postholes. <2> (ST 9492 0708).
