Full Description
A Post Medieval tree enclosure ring is visible as earthworks and trees on aerial photographs. The site comprises an oval enclosure which is centred at ST 9619 1001. The oval is defined by a narrow bank and is orientated south-west / north-east. It measures 66m long by 26m wide. Trees fill the oval enclosure on the 1887 Ordnance Survey map. A similar tree enclosure ring was situated circa 600m to the west but has been levelled by ploughing (see ST 91 SE 254 / UID: 1481394). <1>
