Full Description
A possible block of Medieval / Post Medieval ridge and furrow is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs. The site is centred at ST 9327 0934 and comprises a series of broad parallel possible furrows that suggest a single cultivation block measuring at least 215m long and 165m wide. The ridges have been ploughed out although they are indicated by areas of lighter soil between the furrows, which are orientated roughly east / west along the contours. <1>
