The Medieval village of Little Crichel, recorded from 1212 to 1431, probably stood in the vicinity of Norwood Park (ST 9809). The site is now lost. <1>

'There appear to have been two original settlements, each with its associated land block. Of Little Crichel in the N.W. nothing is now seen; the village probably stood in the vicinity of Norwood Park (984098).'
