Summary

Uncertain prehistoric ditch and inhumation. The ditch runs parallel to the Roman Road. The crouched inhumation was cut into the fill of the ditch.

Full Description

ST 9374 1215. The ditch on Wyke Street Down runs parallel to the Roman Road which lies 100m to the north-east. It is 1.7m wide by 0.95m deep and contained a crouched inhumation cut into the ditches subsidiary fills. Report on the skeleton. <1>
