Full Description
Four small mounds centred ST 91631670, which Watson thought were barrows. They are probably the remains of the lynchetted angles of 'Celtic' fields, elsewhere destroyed by more recent cultivation. <2>
Three mounds centred at ST 916167.
'A' (ST 91611676) 12.0m in diameter and 0.4m in height on the northern side.
'B' (ST 91621673) 12.0m in diameter and 0.4m in height on the northern side.
'C' (ST 91621669) irregular, 21.0m by 17.0m and 0.7m high on the southern side.
None of these mounds has a ditch. <1>
These mounds are as described by Auth <1> and with other slight and fragmentary banks in the vicinity form part of a destroyed 'Celtic' field system. <3>
