Monument record MDO45224 - Post medieval trackways, Tarrant Monkton, Tarrant Rawston

Several ditched and banked linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks running predominantly from south to north across Little Down in Tarrant Monkton And Tarrant Rawston parishes on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be trackway of possible post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Several ditched and banked linear features are visible as earthworks and cropmarks running predominantly from south to north across Little Down in Tarrant Monkton And Tarrant Rawston parishes on aerial photographs and current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1-5]. The features partly correspond with or align with trackways recorded on the OS 1st Edition map [6] and are also considered likely to be trackways of possible post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
