Full Description

The farm-house is a 17th century building, much altered in 1787, which retains some original 3-light windows. The cottage 20 yds to the N is also 17th century ('A'). <2>

Known as Coltleigh Farm <3.1>. A well preserved stone farm house with five mullioned windows in the North face - all with dripstones. The South West wall is concreted and has a datestone of 1787 set high up. The South east face is stuccoed. It has 5 mullioned windows. The roof is modern. Only one period of building could be traced and there is no visible external evidence of the alterations referred to in Authy. 2. The building at A has been converted into a barn. It lacks dateable features. <3>

'The following monuments, unless otherwise described, are of late 17th-century date and of two storeys; the walls are of rubble and the roofs are covered with thatch or modern slates. Some of the buildings have exposed ceiling-beams. (4) Coltleigh Farm, house 1,000 yards E.N.E. of the church, was much altered in 1787. There are some original three-light stone windows with labels.'
