Full Description
At Barton Hill, formerly called Barton Street, stood the church or chapel of St. Michael, of which there are no remains. It was a free chapel within the parish of Holy Trinity but it is not mentioned in the Sarum Registers. <1>
Barton Hill is centred st:- ST 86562321, and in a built up area. No trace was found of any remains of the chapel. <2>
St. Michael's Chapel at Barton Street, possibly first mentioned in 1302, the exact site of which is unknown. It was demolished by circa 1500. <3>
