Summary

The soilmarks of a possible later prehistoric or Roman enclosure and associated boundary ditch can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. The enclosure is situated to the north-west of Humby's Stock Coppice. The boundary ditch is aligned north-south and forms the western side of this enclosure. These features are situated within an area of 'Celtic' fields (monument MDO6115) although no trace of these can be seen on this air photo and their relationship to this enclosure is not known.

Full Description

The soilmarks of a possible later prehistoric or Roman enclosure and associated boundary ditch can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. The enclosure is situated to the north-west of Humby's Stock Coppice at ST 9823 1713. The boundary ditch is aligned north-south and forms the western side of this enclosure. These features are situated within an area of 'Celtic' fields (monument 209762) although no trace of these can be seen on this air photo and their relationship to this enclosure is not known. <1>
