Full Description

The parish church at Wootton Fitzpaine (dedication not known) is of flint rubble with freestone dressings, and is roofed in slate. It incorporates some 12th century re-used material, but mainly dates from the second half of the 13th century, with a chancel of the early 14th century.

In the 15th century the South Chapel with the South Transept were built and the South Porch added; the upper part of the Tower was perhaps built at the same period. The church was restored in 1872 when the North Transept was rebuilt and the Vestry added. <1>
