A possible post medieval quarry is visible as an earthwork at Preston Farm, Tarrant Rushton, on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is shown as a semi-circular earthwork on the OS 1st Edition map, where it contains two farm buildings but is not recorded as a quarry or extractive pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

The feature is shown as a semi-circular earthwork on the OS 1st Edition map, where it contains two farm buildings but is not recorded as a quarry or extractive pit.
