Full Description

Lower Kingsland Farm is a two-storeyed 17th century house of cob and rubble with a thatched roof. It retains an original muntin and plank partition. <3>

Lower Kingsland Farm (name confirmed by tenant) is as described above, although the front of the house has been concrete faced and a small modern porch added. The muntin and plank partition runs along the passage immediately inside the front door. According to Mr Chedd, it is said that Admiral Hood (1724-1816) lived here. <4>
