SU 025 155 (FCE) A rapid examination of air photography <1.1> suggests the presence of a settlement site, possibly of Prehistoric or Roman date, visible as soilmarks on Bottlebrush Down, beside the Iron Age/Romano-British trackway (SU 01 NW 64) [Note: ie MDO45063 ] and field system (SU 01 NW 80) [Note: ie MDO6381]. <1>
