Full Description
SY 675 774. A number of mesolithic flint implements including scrapers, blades and gravers have been found on the foreshore near Sandsfoot Castle. (1)
The artifacts were found amongst the foreshore boulders but also further out at low tide. It is possible that this area may have been dry until fairly late in the Flandrian maximum sea-level phase. (2)
