Summary

Linear ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Pimperne village. The features overlie (or are overlain by) the enclosure described in MDO4566, they appear to be field boundaries, part of an enclosure and a possible trackway, some features possibly of contempory date with the enclosure, The features cover an area of 6.9 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.

Full Description

Linear ditched features are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Pimperne village [1-3]. The features overlie (or are overlain by) the enclosure described in MDO4566, they appear to be field boundaries, part of an enclosure and a possible trackway, some features possibly of contempory date with the enclosure. The features cover an area of 6.9 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
