Summary

A linear ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2000 to the west of Pimperne village. The feature runs for over 700m to the southwest of the enclosure described in MDO4566; it is considered to be a trackway or field boundary, possibly of contempory date with the enclosure, and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.

Full Description

A linear ditched feature is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs [1] taken in 2000 to the west of Pimperne village. The feature runs for over 700m to the southwest of the enclosure described in MDO4566; it is considered to be a trackway or field boundary, possibly of contempory date with the enclosure, and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
