Full Description
A long linear bank and ditched feature is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery [1]. The feature runs for 2.4km in a roughly W-E direction crossing Fair Mile Road at ST 8704 0531. It mirrors the general orientation of the field system described in MDO44996 and the two sites are therefore considered likely to be generally contemporary. The feature is considered to be a later prehistoric boundary feature and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
