Monument record MDO44991 - Later prehistoric field system and enclosures, Middle Farm, Blandford St Mary

A series of bank and ditched linear features is visible as cropmarks and low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the northeast of Middle Farm, Blandford St Mary. The features appear to form a fragmented field system with possible enclosres and pits. They cover an area of 31 hectares; they and are likely to be later prehistoric or Roman in date, they were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.

The features cover an area of 31 hectares; they are likely to be the remains of a later prehistoric or Roman field system and enclosure and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project.
